Event 03. KockeFest
- Autumn 2009, was held at primary school in Ljubljana Koseze on
Saturday October 17th 2009 from 10 am till
5 pm.
Our club would like to thank all sponsors who helped KockeFest to continue along the path of success and they are invited to attend our next events.
We would also like to thank all event participants and event visitors.
The new location has brought some innovations. The room is separated to a larger lower and smaller upper part, allowing a relatively smooth flow of visitors and allow them to see most of the models from the top.
We estimated that the KockeFest visited at least 5000 visitors.
This time it was possible to see models of
2x8 meters long city with train, Cowboys and Indians with train, Star
Wars battlefield with monorail,
Duplo town with train, NXT robots with functioning looms, Technic cranes and
good old "sandbox" where we demonstrated the operation of construction
machinery with wireless management.
A new feature was the presentation of all LEGO pirate sets that were manufactured and launched by LEGO company for sale in 2009.
In addition to workshops with LEGO prizes and club corner, there were also present
trade, where it was possible to buy new and used LEGO bricks.
